Today, Nov. 8, 2026, The Vietnamese Magazine celebrates its ninth birthday.
Nine years ago, we started with a simple belief: the people of Việt Nam deserve to have their stories told honestly, without asking permission from those in power. Few publications cover Việt Nam independently and refuse to bend to censorship. We are proud to be one of them, and we could not have done it without you.
You read our stories when they were difficult to read. You shared them when sharing was risky. You stood with us when it would have been easier to look away. Every membership, every message, and every share has kept us going.
Thank you. As we begin our 10th year, we hope you will stay with us. The stories that state media will not tell still need to be told, and we will keep telling them together with you.
