​The Latest: On May 16, the police in An Giang Province announced the prosecution and detention of a 55-year-old teacher, Vũ Thị Hương. According to the Hồ Chí Minh City Law Newspaper, authorities are investigating her on charges of “abusing democratic freedoms to infringe upon the interests of the state and the lawful rights and interests of organizations and individuals” under Article 331 of the 2015 Penal Code.
